We collect as little information as possible. Specifically:
No personal data: We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other personally identifiable information.
YouTube playlist data: When you paste a playlist URL and click "Calculate Length," we call the YouTube Data API v3 on your behalf to retrieve video titles, durations, and channel names for that playlist. This data is processed in real time to display results and is not stored on our servers.
Local storage (browser only): We use your browser's
localStorage to remember your dark/light theme preference and up to 5 recent playlist searches. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. 02
How We Use Information
The playlist data retrieved from the YouTube API is used solely to calculate and display your results. We do not store, share, sell, or analyse any playlist data. We have no database of users or search history.

Third-Party Services
Our tool relies on the following third-party services. Their own privacy policies apply when interacting with them:
YouTube Data API v3 (Google LLC): Used to fetch playlist and video metadata. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy and the YouTube API Terms of Service.
Google Fonts: We load Inter and JetBrains Mono from Google Fonts. Google may log font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies
We do not set any cookies. We use
localStorage (see Section 1) instead, which is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. 05
Analytics & Tracking
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no trackers, pixels, or fingerprinting scripts on this site.

Data Security
Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data at risk on our end. The site is served over HTTPS. All YouTube API requests are made server-side to keep your API key secure.

Children's Privacy
This tool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the tool after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
